Consult a licensed electrical contractor for the installation of the transformer into the junction box. Georgia-Pacific Corporation recommends using a UL listed, 24 Volt transformer with at least 10 Volt-Amps of power per dispenser. The power supply output cord is intended to route through the mounting wall of the dispenser. This is a low voltage, energy limited circuit, similar to those used for thermostats, telephones, security systems, or doorbells. In these applications, there is no requirement for an electrical box or strain relief where the wire exits the wall.
- SKU 59777 is a 24VAC to 6V DC converter, designed to work with GP towel dispensers, including the enMotion® recessed, SKU 59766.
- Hardwire directly to user-supplied central 24V AC power supply to hide connecting cables in the wall for a professional look
- Save time and money by connecting multiple dispensers to a single central transformer
- No batteries to purchase or replace saves money and maintenance time and eliminates potential service interruptions due to low batteries
- Operation – The kit will operate the dispenser just as if it were on batteries. There is no battery backup. Please consult a licensed electrician to determine how to install a 24VAC power source if you are unsure.
